Princeton Trails
| Working in collaboration with the town’s Open Space Committee, Trails Around Princeton (TAP) provides public access to extensive trails ranging in scope from easy to moderate to those more challenging for experienced hikers.

At the bottom of the page, an Interactive Map shows the trailhead location for hiking areas in the region. Detail trail descriptions and maps for each hiking area can be accessed in the hyperlinks provided. A second interactive PDF map/Poster showing the trail courses (36x48") is also available here.
There are also many informal trails in Princeton which are not listed below, but are left to be explored.
We ask hikers and riders to act appropriately while using the trails. Respect the quiet of the woods, leave no trace, stay on-trail. Also, hike safely! Always wear hunter orange in the fall and dress warmly and bring microspikes in the winter.
