Midstate Blaze

The Massachusett Midstate Trail runs from Ashburnham on the New Hampshire border through Princeton  to Douglas on the Rhode Island state lineine. This 95-mile footpath travels over ten miles in Princetonfrom Leominster State Forest, over Wachusett Mountain, through Mass. Audubon’s Wachusett Meadow Sanctuary and the Four Corners Conservation area to Savage Hill before exiting into Rutland.

The trail is maintained by volunteers with coordination and funding through the Appalachian Mountain Club.

The Midstate Trail forms an important link in many of the recommended hikes in the above named areas of Princeton as well asin surrounding towns.
