Eagle Lake Mass Audubon

Eagle Lake Map

Eagle Lake is a 365 acre Mass. Audubon sanctuary with over two miles of trails. It is located off Causeway Street in Holden.

The canopy of mature forest provides nesting sites for Scarlet Tanagers, Great Crested Flycatchers, and Rose-breasted  Grosbeaks. The pond attracts numerous waterfowl during spring and fall migration.

Trails will take you along Eagle Lake with scenic lake views and along Asnebumskit Brook, where red cardinal flowers bloom in the late summer. There is also a section with a wide open path along one of the Worcester aqueducts.

Princeton Hikes! Group has  not visited this park due to the relatively short trails.
