Public Safety Building Advocacy

In May 2021, the EAC reached out to the Selectboard and Town Administrator to reiterate EAC interest in assisting the Town with design and implementation of certain building elements at the proposed new Public Safety Building. The EAC provided for consideration a list of “Energy and Environmental Opportunities for the Town of Princeton’s Proposed New Public Safety Building.” That list suggested the types of elements that might be considered with regard to energy, water efficiency, landscape, transportation, indoor environmental quality, and waste management. The list was neither inclusive nor exclusive of all opportunities, but was a product of EAC member brainstorming, and meant to spur further discussion, inquiry, and cost-benefit analysis.
