Our Mission

The Environmental Action Committee's mission is to advise and set goals and recommendations for the Town of Princeton with regard to energy and environmental considerations. The Committee pursues achievement of the following broad objectives:

  • maximizing and promoting energy and resource use efficiency;
  • preserving and enhancing ecological systems and diversity;
  • sharing environmental information with the community;
  • providing for sustainable development;
  • achieving carbon dioxide emissions reductions;
  • and encouraging Town compliance with environmental regulations.
