Town Plan Implementation Committee

Purpose: To review, coordinate and monitor the implementation element of the Princeton Town Plan.

Composition: The Princeton Board of Selectmen will appoint a five (5) member Town Plan Implementation Committee (TPIC) comprised of the Town Administrator and 4 Citizens at Large.

Charge: The Committee of five people, with the Chairman elected by members of the Committee, is primarily charged with the responsibility of guiding the implementation of the Princeton Town Plan, adopted by the Planning Board on September 19, 2007.

The Committee will evaluate, update, adjust, schedule, and monitor the implementation phases contained in the Princeton Town Plan as warranted by considerations of funding resources, technical issues, public support, and the needs of the Town.

The Committee will primarily draft strategies to address the implementation recommendations contained in the Town Plan. As appropriate and necessary, the Committee may provide direct technical support or recommend the assignment of other citizens, committees or volunteer groups to provide technical support, provide public outreach efforts, advocate for funding or otherwise assist other Boards, Committees or stakeholders to undertake the successful completion of the implementation recommendations.

The Committee, from time to time, will update the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen of its progress directly or through the representation of the Town Administrator.
