Farm Day in Princeton is Saturday, May 18. Participating farms will welcome visitors from noon to 4:00 pm.

Princeton has a rich agricultural heritage, reflected in its early farmhouses and barns, and the stone walls bordering fields and pastures.  Back then, most families depended on their gardens, orchards, and livestock to feed their families, and sold or bartered the surplus production.  Farm Day echoes Princeton's agricultural past, and is an opportunity to connect with Princeton's 21st century farming activities, such as raising alpacas at Andean Dawn Alpaca Farm, Community Supported Agriculture offered by Rattle Root Farm and haymaking at Stimson Farm.  There are hands-on fun activities for children at each of the participating farms.
