Selectboard Updates

The Selectboard heard from State Representative Kimberly Ferguson that her proposed budget amendment #962 seeking $200,000 for a fund to be administered by the Town of Princeton for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) did not make it into the budget. Kim mentioned that there may be federal funds that can be used and she can also file another amendment when they do a supplemental budget. Town Administrator Sherry Patch and the Selectboard are watching for spending guidelines for the American Rescue Plan Act and also information on potential infrastructure spending bills working their way through Congress as potential sources of funds for PFAS expenses.

The Selectboard has posted an addendum to its budget report that shows a more detailed breakdown of the tax impact on the average home.
