1. Call meeting to order: Claire Golding called the meeting to order at 9:03 am.
2. Public Comment Period: No members of the public attended.
3. Minutes of the August 23, 2022 meeting were reviewed. Claire Golding made a motion to accept the minutes as
written.  Richard Bisk seconded the motion.  All in favor.
4. Minutes of the September 20, 2022 meeting at the Highway Barn were reviewed. Claire Golding made a motion
to accept the minutes as written.  Richard Bisk seconded the motion.  All in favor.
5. There was discussion on the list of concerns about a transfer station from the Board of Health. The Board of
Health and Department of Environmental Protection Central Regional Office would need to work with the
Town/Committee on a site assignment.  Since Princeton is one of the towns connected to Wachusett Earth Day,
we would only need dumpsters.  The site visit identified a spot near the old barn for the dumpsters.  This
location would put it just inside Zone A, which would not be acceptable to the Board of Health.  There was also a
discussion about the possibility of changing the location of the dumpsters so that they would be outside of the
Zone A area.  The Highway Barn property meets most of the Department of Environmental Protection
requirements, making it the best possible site in town.  Several of the issues raised by the Board of Health would
be addressed through the implementation plan.  It was agreed that Shaunna Knuth and Richard Bisk, along with
Irene Congdon and Sherry Patch, would attend the next Board of Health meeting to discuss the proposed
transfer station with the members of the Board of Health.
6. It was agreed that we would submit a survey to residents about the proposed transfer station in the Town
census mailing.  Claire Golding will draft a survey for our next meeting for review.
7. Irene Congdon and Sherry Patch will proceed with the technical assistance grant.
8. Richard Bisk will speak to Ben Metcalf, Highway Superintendent, on a transfer station at the Highway Barn.
9. Next meeting – December 8, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
10. Irene Congdon will talk to members at Wachusett Earth Day about the project.
11. Adjourned 9:52 am
