Charge for Princeton Solar Farm Committee.
The Princeton Solar Farm Committee shall be to assist the Select Board and other Town Boards and Committees and PMLD with research, analysis, development and review of plans, proposals and RFPs for implementation of large scale solar installations in Princeton. Any installation shall be beneficial to Town residents and compatible with the Town’s beauty and character.
PMLD RFP requested input;
PMLD to investigate if Nextera will purchase the solar power output for the time from start of operation until expiration of PMLD / Nextera contact 12/31/2027
PMLD requests First Right of Refusal on the purchase of power produced by the PSF Phase 1 starting 1/1/2028, after expiration of Nextera contract.
PMLD requests First Right of Refusal on purchase of the system after ITC and depreciation is used. Purchase price is to be determined at time of contract based on the depreciated value of the system and NPV of future generation and revenue.
PMLD and the successful bidder will negotiate an interconnection contract. This interconnection is contingent on the anticipated interconnection of the PMLD system with Sterling Municipal Light Plant, which is currently in the planning stage.
