Guests: surveyor Doug Andrysick, applicants Alyce and Anne-Marie Buchenan, resident Greg Miranda
7:30 PM Call to order.
7:35 PM Doug Andrysick presented renderings of an ANR plan at East Princeton Road on behalf of applicant DiPilato.
Vote: motion to endorse ANR as submitted. Unanimous “aye”.
7:45 PM Doug Andrysick presented renderings of an ANR plan at Gregory Hill Road in part on behalf of the Princeton Land Trust. Chair Mirick and Member Catlow are members of the Land Trust, and therefore recused themselves from this ANR.
Rud Mason was designated chairman pro tem.
Vote: motion to endorse ANR as submitted. Unanimous “aye”.
7:51 PM The chair opened the public hearing for a special permit to operate a home occupation at 53 Worcester Road for applicants Alyce Buchenan and Anne-Marie Buchenan. The Buchenan family operates a small prototyping/engineering design firm. The existing building will remain as is. The only exterior change being considered is a larger door.
The chair asked for comments from the audience.
8:15 PM The chair closed the public hearing and the board deliberated. A previous home occupation permit was issued at the address when the workshop was expanded (Steve Knapp Glassworks).
There is a stream on the property and the new use must comply with any orders of condition regarding the stream described in the previous special permit.
Vote: motion designate Chair Mirick to sign for the entire board. Unanimous “aye”.
Vote: approve special permit and site plan review. Unanimous “aye”.
Chair Mirick will draft a decision as presented for review by the board. The hope is to sign a final permit by Tuesday September 6, 2021
