Street Sweeping / Road Maintenance Ongoing

sweep

The Princeton Highway Department, soon to be Princeton Department of Public Works, has been out sweeping the publicly maintained streets in Princeton over the past month. Please note that the Street Sweeping Program is designed to collect sand debris—not to collect yard waste. Superintendent Ben Metcalf has noted that approximately 3/4 of the Town is complete and the remainder is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. This is in addition to the maintenance of public space, mowing, grading of dirt roads, and many other upkeep and public maintenance projects. Have a question or would like to bring attention to an issue? Contact Superintendent Metcalf at 978-464-2120 or by emailing highwaydept@town.princeton.ma.us
