New version of disaster recovery plan
- Pruning sections from template
- Discussion around redundant hardware
- Need an inventory of department servers and software hosted there
- Define the criteria for time to restore
- Part of a broader plan for the town
- Define second location for work
- Is ransomeware supported by the same system, should be with timely backup
- Identify which risks are prioritized
- Processes exist for each risk or event
Strategic plan document reformatted
Peter had to support fire department to replace two computers that crashed
- The failed hardware was older and not a consistent configuration with town hall for example, something we are addressing
- Another example of needing a periodic hardware refresh cycle
VOIP deployment in the next 6 weeks

- Peter recommending use of Datto for continuous backup of server

- Retention policy for backup data to drive cloud backup implementation
- Scan and archive paper in current storage, document management system (John)
- Need to connect highway department
- Data storage policy and procedure i.e. sync to OneDrive shared folders (Sherry)

- Laptop re-imaging (also related to disaster recovery)
