Update on Preferred Hauler Initiative

July 29 was the deadline for haulers to respond to Princeton’s Request for Proposals (RFP) for a preferred hauler program. While 12 companies expressed interest in the RFP, only one hauler, Waste Management, submitted a proposal by the deadline. The Waste & Recycling Committee has evaluated the proposal, and has decided that it does not meet the needs of the town at this time.
