Town Caucus - Results

The Citizen's Caucus is held annually following Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 53, Sections 117 & 118 to nominate candidates for the Town of Princeton Annual Town Election.
The 2021 Caucus was held at the Thomas Prince School Gymnasium on March 16, 2021, at 7:00 PM. With 30 voters in attendance, Caucus Chair Lynne Grettum presided over eight candidates' nominations for nine offices. Caucus Clerk Claire Golding recorded the official Caucus Certificate of Nomination.

Anyone not nominated at the Caucus who intends to run for office may do so by taking out nomination papers from the Town Clerk's Office. Signatures of 20 registered Princeton voters are needed to qualify for placement on the ballot. Nomination papers became available Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Please call or email the Town Clerk's office to schedule your pickup. Nomination papers must be filed with the Registrars (Town Clerk's Office) by 5 PM Monday, March 22, 2021. The last day to object to nominations or withdraw nomination papers is 5 PM Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
