Thank You First Responders!

The Selectboard would like to take this opportunity to thank and recognize the hard work and dedication of our first responders and highway crew during the recent storm. We have received several emails, letters and phone calls acknowledging their efforts to keep our residents and visitors safe.  One officer even going above and beyond the call of duty to assist a resident with snow removal, and another coming to the aid of a truck driver and his wife that were stuck on Rt. 62 ensuring their safety and bringing them  something to eat.  Chief Bennett and the Fire/EMS aided in the rescue of two young boys who were lost on the mountain during the storm.  Many thanks to highway crew members who work tirelessly to keep our roads open and safe for the public. We are proud of their representation of our community and appreciative of their efforts. THANK YOU!
