State Rep Kim Ferguson files amendment for Town of Princeton PFAS Remediation

State Representative Kimberly N. Ferguson filed Amendment #962 to H4000: Town of Princeton PFAS Remediation. Her amendment seeks $200,000 for a fund to be administered by the Town of Princeton for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and to cover the costs of testing and remediation on properties that would otherwise not qualify for funding under the Department of Environmental Protection’s PFAS programs. In addition, the funds may also be used to identify the number of households that receive drinking water from a private well and may require testing.

House budget debate begins today and we will be watching this amendment closely. Many thanks to Kim for watching out for Princeton!
