Route 140 Project Update

Hello Everyone,

We are in the midst of major excavation work in East Princeton on Rte. 140.  The excavation performed yesterday and today that you may have seen is going to continue on Monday on the South side of the bridge from 90 Main St. to Leominster Road.

If you live within this zone, we advise you to please leave your house by 7 AM if you are able. 

If not, it is likely that you might have a 12” drop off at the end of the driveway.  We have a crew making gravel ramps to driveways behind the machine to maintain access but I can foresee some folks having to wait 10-15 minutes to have the ramping done.  We all know Monday mornings can be tough and 10-15 minutes can seem like forever.

Over the past 2 days we moved about 2500 Tons of material-110 truckloads or so and that same operation will be occurring Monday.
