Princeton Selectboard Issue Statement on Vanessa Marcotte Case Admission of Guilt Plea

VMF

On August 7th, 2016, Vanessa Marcotte was killed by an act of violence while out on a walk near her family home in Princeton, MA. Last week, there was an admission of guilt by her murderer during a court hearing. The Princeton Selectboard would like to thank the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, the State Police, the Princeton Police and everyone else who worked to bring justice to Vanessa and her family.

We also want to thank the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation for their work to honor Vanessa, her family, and other victims, and help prevent similar acts of violence through self-defense workshops, education, and prevention resources. You can learn more about the Foundation at www.vtmf.org
