Princeton Receives $48,660 Grant from MassDEP and $100,000 FY 23 GAA Earmark from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs

The Selectboard is pleased to announce that the Town received a $48,660 grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) under the Small Public Water Suppliers (PWS Grant Program.  This grant program provides funds (including reimbursement for costs and expenses already to impacted Small PWSs for measures taken to remove PFAS contamination in the drinking water supply.  Read more here  https://www.mass.gov/news/healey-driscoll-administration-awards-1-million-to-help-small-public-water-suppliers-respond-to-pfas-contamination

The Town also received a $100,000 FY 23 GAA Earmark from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs for expenses related to private well testing and remediation.  Many thanks to Representative Kimberly Ferguson for efforts on behalf of the Town.
