The Princeton Open Space committee and the Princeton Land Trust invite you to meet for a Landowner Information Session on Sunday February 5th at 2PM at the town annex.

Princeton landowners have several opportunities to conserve land, provide short- or long-term protection to our town’s valued natural resources, and reduce property taxes through permanent or temporary conservation plans.

In this session, we will review the options offered by local and state programs, explain how the programs work and what is required to take advantage of them, and provide examples of how landowners have benefited from these programs. Some examples are:

•Chapter 61 (Agriculture, Forest, or Recreation)

•Conservation Restrictions

•Land Trust land donations and purchases

Participants will be introduced to the people who can help to implement these options, and time will be provided to discuss specific situations at the end of the meeting.
