Mary Cadwallder and Nathaniel Gove will be presenting a talk and slideshow on the Boylston's on June 26th at 3pm via Zoom entitled: "After 25 years in exile, a Tory repatriates to Princeton, Massachusetts"

In 1820, Ward Nicholas Boylston built his summer home on a hillside in Princeton. To this day, the views to the East reveal a 60-mile vista to Boston. It has been said that, in the right light,  ship masts in Boston harbor could be seen from Princeton. The house and property were distinctive and elegant and by all accounts, Mr. Boylston and family enjoyed its comforts. This talk  by Mary Cadwallader and Nathaniel Gove is the story of Mr. Boylston's unlikely route to Princeton land ownership and a look into the architecture and history of the Boylston Villa.
