The Princeton Cultural Council's (PCC) Grant Cycle is Open! Applications must be submitted by October 17, 2023.

Apply for a Grant or Join Today! The Princeton Cultural Council (PCC) announces that the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) opens its grant application process on September 1, 2023. You must apply online by October 17, 2023.

The PCC requires that a performer or artist have a local sponsor. Examples include the library, the Thomas Prince School, the Princeton Arts Society, Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary, the Congregational Church, the Historical Society, and so on.

The PCC welcomes proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science programs. These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Princeton including exhibits, festivals, short-term artist residencies, performances and visiting artists in schools, workshops and lectures. We encourage all art forms to apply.

Last year, the PCC distributed about $6,800 in grants. The MCC provided funding for a variety of local projects including the Hip Swayers, A Tale of Two , and Toe Jam Puppet Band concerts, a Pastel Class, the Rediscover Princeton Speaker Series, the Thomas Prince Library Rejuvenation Project, and The Brandenburg Concertos.

The PCC is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils serving all 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth. The LCC Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, sciences and humanities every year. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the MCC, a state agency, which then allocates funds to each community.

The PCC is thrilled to help bring cultural programming to our community.
