Preliminary Budget Presentation Schedule

The Selectboard and Financial Management Team will be holding a series of budget presentations between now and the Advisory Committee Hearing on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant. The first meetings will be held virtually on 2/7 at 7 pm and 2/8 at 1 pm. We will discuss the process, team and roles, budget guidance provided to departments, and some of the budget drivers. This meeting will include a discussion of the new police reform law and its implications for Princeton.

Subsequent budget meetings will be held on 3/7 at 7 pm and 3/8 at 1 pm for an overview of the budget, first look at school numbers, how ARPA decisions are factored in and on 3/28 at 7 pm and 3/29 at 1 pm where we will present the almost final budget with good numbers, most funding decisions incorporated, and a preview of some budget-related warrant articles.
