New Walking Track at Krashes Field Open Now; Save the Date June 19th, Ribbon Cutting and Fun Activities Planned

Krashes Fields has a new walking track! Beautifully built by the Highway Department, the track located on the upper field offers a breathtaking view of the Mountain (and often, a nice breeze) and easy access to the Princeton Land Trust Bullock/McElroy Trails, easily located with the new trailhead sign. Track users will also find new picnic tables and benches later this month of June, all funded by a $25,000 Shared Winter Streets Program grant from MassDOT. These improvements to the popular recreation area will be celebrated with a Ribbon Cutting Event on June 19th at 9:00 a.m. Many thanks to Ben Metcalf and his crew at the Highway Department, the Parks and Recreation Commission, and the Open Space Committee for making this new town asset possible.  The walking track is open for use now. Stay tuned for more announcements for June 19th morning fun-day activities after the ribbon cutting.
