Current and future opportunities for PMLD customers

Princeton’s Environmental Action Committee is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a 2021 Environmental Speaker Series, presenting expert voices on various environmental topics of interest and relevance to Princeton residents. The first of the quarterly Environmental Speaker Series events—“Energy Savings For Today and Tomorrow: Current and future opportunities for PMLD customers”—will take place via a GoToMeeting webinar on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

At this event, Princeton Light Commissioner and independent consulting engineer Rick Rys will describe the future of electric energy management, including demand-side management, net metering, smart metering, and interactive homes. He will also offer practical tips on increasing home energy efficiency.  Joseph Coles, Energy Efficiency Program Manager with the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company, will discuss rebate and incentive programs currently offered to Princeton Municipal Light Department customers through the Home Energy Loss Prevent Services (HELPS) program.

The presentations will be followed by a Question & Answer session.
