ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION

MONDAY, MAY 8, 2023

POLLS OPEN: 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM

LOCATION: The Thomas Prince School

Last Day to Register to Vote at the Annual Town Election: By 5pm, Friday, April 28, 2023

Last Day to Apply To Vote By Mail: By 5pm, Monday, May 1st, 2023

The election warrant can be found on the Town of Princeton Website under the Department of the Town Clerk and signed warrants will be posted at Bagg Hall, the Princeton Public Library and the Princeton Post Office. Seven positions and three referendum questions will appear on the 2023 Annual Town Election Ballot.

Voters can choose whether they would prefer to vote in person at the polls on Election Day or by mail.

Voting by Mail is a two-step process:

1. Voter must Request a “Vote By Mail” Ballot i) Requests for “Vote by Mail” Ballots can be submitted online through the Mail-in Ballot Application System and Vote by Mail Applications are also available in the Office of Town Clerk.

2. Vote & Return the Ballot to the Town Clerk’s Office

i) All “Vote By Mail” ballots returned by mail or hand delivered to the Town Clerk’s Office must be received before the polls close on Election Day. You may also return your ballot in the Drop Box near the front entrance of the Town Hall.

VOTE BY MAIL Ballots cannot be accepted at the polling location on Election Day.

The last day to vote Absentee in the Town Clerk’s office is by 5pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
