BOARD/COMMITTEE PRINCETON CONSERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES

Brian Keevan called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM.

Item 1: Approval of minutes: Minutes from the June 29, 2023 meeting were approved with minor edits at 7:09 PM.

Item 2: Continued Public Hearing for a Notice of Intent (DEP File #267-****) filed by the Town of Princeton Highway Department for general repair and maintenance of town roads, culverts, and drainage infrastructure. No responses to DEP comments have been received and no file number issued. Voted to continue to August 15, 2023, at 7:11pm.

Item 3:Public Hearing for a Notice of Intent (DEP File #267-0454) filed by Glenn Wilson for demolition of a free standing garage and construction of a new garage within the buffer zone at 42B Sterling Rd. Site visit with Mr. Wilson occurred on 07/17. In attendance were Brian Keevan, Jennifer Vuona, Gerry Pellegrini. Mr. Wilson presented the plot plan including wetlands mapped by MaryAnn DiPinto. Sean Conway who is doing the excavation and site work was also present. Discussed need for erosion controls and decided on straw wattles and silt fence. Hearing closed and voted to issue a Standard Order of Conditions, with erosion controls specified, at 7:34 pm.

Other Business/Procedures:

● Brian Keevan updated the Commission on the status of the appeal for DEP File # 267-0448.

● Discussed need for ID Badges when we go on site visits. Bonnie will discuss with TA, Sherry Patch.

Building Permit subcommittee: up to date with current permits.

Forest cutting plans: 25 Willson Road plan reviewed and approved.

Solar Farm Working Group:

Bonnie reported that the group met this past week and plans to have joint meeting with Select Board regarding specifics of an RFP.

Conservation Commission Website:

Bonnie and Jennifer will continue to edit the website.
