Interview candidates for Principal Assessor position.
Helen Townsend recused herself from interview process and decision because she applied for the position
Christian Kuhn – Working towards MMA Accreditation. Multiple City and Town experience. Currently PT Boylston Principal Assessor.
Benjamin Straight – MMA Accreditation. Extensive Assessing experience. Currently Principal Assistant Assessor for the City of Worcester. Experienced in Vision.
Helen Townsend- Currently Princeton Assessor. Administrative Assistant Shrewsbury Assessors office.
Day to day operations of the office. MV Abatements, Chapter Land, Building permits, lot splits.
Board will follow up with reference checks and suggest successful candidate at future meeting.
Tax Classification Hearing: To be held November 17, 2020 with Board of Selectmen. Kathy Stanley will attend remotely on behalf of the board.
