Princeton Parks and Recreation
Attention Pet Owners!
We love that you and your dogs are enjoying our beautiful parks ..... but PLEASE pick up after them!!
All dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in barrels provided at all parks!  Children playing in fields littered with dog waste is not a pleasant or healthy experience!  Please be considerate and continue to enjoy our beautiful parks!
A reminder -- no dogs on fields when games/practices are in session.  If watching a game, please have  your pet on a leash for the safety of all.  Thanks!

Princeton Playground!
The Town of Princeton, Princeton Parks and Recreation, and the Thomas Prince School have begun working on plans to replace the worn and outdated playground behind the Thomas Prince School.  A great community resource, used by all the local kids from the school, sports teams, and community!  This will be a big community effort.  First step is fundraising!  Thanks to all who supported the project through Winter Carnival pariticipation and donations.  Thanks to the TPS school kids for the projects they have done to raise funds.  Look for more commmunity fundraising projects!

If you wish to make a donation - all are welcome and may be sent to the Princeton Parks and Recreation Donation Account, 6 Town Hall Dr, Princeton MA 01541.

Ideas for a fundraiser?  Playground ideas?  Send the along to recreation@town.princeton.ma.us!

Spring Programs - updates and your input requested!!

1  Fairy Gardens:  Offered as an afterschool program at TPS for kids 2nd-6th grade.   Fee $20.  The instructor is earliest available to do a program on June 14th, which is planned as a PTA event day.   Would there be interest in doing this later in June or should we hold off till next year?  (Note - no class today 4/26 as originally advertised)

2.  Pottery class:  Several people registered for this K-3 afterschool class.  Unfortunately our instructor cancelled on me and is unwilling to make up.   I am working with another vendor to get this rescheduled -- and open it up so additional registrations!   Please give me a suggested day of the week (afterschool) in May and we will get this booked!!

3.  Archery -- for those owed a makeup from fall -- what day of the week works best?   ALSO -- please all reply if there is interest in a summer archery program.

4.  Babysitting course -- we are looking to offer this again in June.  Please reply if you are interested and we will get this scheduled.  fee estimate $50.  Open for kids 11+

5.  Soccer -- PreK, and K-2 soccer program.  Please reply if interested.  We would start mid-May if there is interest, and run once a week thru June.

6.  Summer classes  you'd like to see?  Send us an email!
