Trail Cleanups Starting This Weekend!

Princeton Earth Month - Trail Cleanups

We will be starting a few of the Trail Cleanup projects early, and in a way designed to meet the safety rules for COVID19. This will provide a good, safe opportunity to help with the cleanup in an outdoor activity. And the weather this weekend looks good!

Please consider signing up!!

  • Saturday March 21 at 10am: Four Corner / Midstate Trail. Captains: Larry and Rosa Todd (singdt45@gmail.com)
  • Sunday March 22 at 1PM: Red Fox Farm Princeton Land Trust (PLT) Trails. Captain Brian Keevan (bjkeevan@gmail.com)
  • Sunday March 29 at 9AM: Peabody/Metcalf PLT Trails. Captain Brian Foley (BPrinceton@Aol.com)

Trail cleanups will be led by people who have experience with the trails. These 'captains' will restrict the number of people involved in each event to under ten, and will reinforce the six foot 'social distancing' rule.

Contact the captain for each event to sign up and to get information about meeting place and items to bring along. The work will be light...mostly picking up trash and sticks and perhaps trimming foliage. In some cases the trail will be clean enough that this activity will be more of a hike than work!!
