Princeton needs YOU!!!

There are many openings on our boards and committees. A complete list of vacancies and the volunteer application can be found here. The Advisory Committee worked all last year with one position empty. Now there are two openings. This committee performs a very important oversight role for taxpayers and is hampered by having insufficient people. The Conservation Commission has been equally short staffed. Parks & Recreation is another committee that hasn't been able to function as well as desired because of the lack of members. Now they no longer have a quorum and will be unable to move forward. Some positions are on committees whose work is seasonal (Holiday Decorating and Memorial Day committees). Please remember that Princeton depends upon the work of volunteers. Without them, we would need to rely on paid employees for many functions. Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet people, learn new things, and help our town. If you have any questions at all, reach out to anyone on the Selectboard, the committees, or the Town Administrator. Thank you!
