New Online Mail-In Ballot Application Now Available

Vote By Mail

Commonwealth of Massachusetts registered voters can now request a mail-in ballot online. Voters can access the portal at:

https://www.sec.state.ma.us/MailInRequestWeb/MailInBallot.aspx however; it is recommended voters go to www.voteinMA.com for vote by mail information.

The portal is similar to our website's 'Am I Registered?' lookup tool. Voters must provide their name, date of birth, and zip code to verify their voter registration. Only registered voters can use this tool. If you register to vote, please give the clerk's office two business days before requesting a Vote By Mail Ballot online. The website refreshes daily with information from our Voter Registry Information System, so voters who applied to be processed today should try to use the portal again in the coming days or submit a paper application.

After a voter's information is verified, they must indicate the election(s) for which they want a mail-in ballot. For example, they can select 'All Elections in 2022', the 'September 6 Primary,' and the 'November 8 Election.' If a voter requests a primary ballot and is not registered in a political party, they must select a party ballot choice before submitting. They can also enter an optional mailing address, phone number, and email address, then apply. Voters can only submit one request per election using the portal, so if any changes need to be made, they must contact the Office of the Town Clerk directly to update their request.
Please forward any questions to Town Clerk Nathan Boudreau at 978-464-2103 or by emailing townclerk@town.princeton.ma.us
