June 19th, Krashes Field Ribbon Cutting and Family Fun Day Activities Planned, 8:45am-12 noon
Come on down to enjoy the morning at Krashes Field, grab a coffee and pastry, see your neighbors and meet new ones, and be part of the town celebration.
Krashes Fields has a new walking track, new benches and picnic tables, (an ice skating rink for the wintertime fun) and more. The new walking track connects with the Princeton Land Trust Bullock/McElroy Trails . All of these improvements have been funded by a $25,000 Shared Winter Streets Program grant from MassDOT the town received earlier this year.
Following is a brief overview of the day:
8:45am-9:00am
Arrive, park, grab a coffee, water, pastry, meet your neighbors without masks, at the Fieldhouse.

9:00-9:30 ,
Krashes Field Ribbon Cutting ceremony with state elected leaders and local town leaders, held on the basketball court
9:30-12 noon,
Animal Adventures exotic animals on display including alligator, chinchilla, hedgehog, lizards, and many more, held on Field 1
Meet Andi the Clown and have your face painted, located near the walking track on Field 2
Guided hikes on the Bullock Trail led by the PLT, tours at 10am and 11am, meet at the trailhead off of Field #2
Shaved flavored ice-cones truck serving near the fieldhouse, for a fee
Locally baked pizza available around 11:30am, for free
Fun youth and adult races and activities on Field 2 track; prizes from local vendors: Kids-
Balloon toss – team prize(water balloons)
Dizzy Bat Race-individual prize(bats and cones)
Water Balloon Carry Race-individual prize(balloon and foam frisbee)
Frisbee Bucket Toss-individual or team prize(frisbee and bucket)
Wheelbarrow Race-team prize(2 person team)
Adults-
Dizzy Bat Race-Individual(bat and cones)
3-Legged Race-team prize(string to tie leg)
Other -
balls and parachutes for kids to play with in the field
There is limited parking near the fieldhouse reserved for handicap, please follow parking restrictions - park near Field 1 or at DPW
OK to bring pets on a leash and bring a cleanup bag.
