Princeton Arts Society - Poetry Reading April 8, 2018
David Lowenthal to Read
In honor of Poetry Month, the Princeton Arts Society will host Princeton resident David Lowenthal as he reads from his work on Sunday, April 8 at 2pm in the PAS/COA events room, 206 Worcester Road (Post Office Place), Princeton.
An Air Force veteran of World War II with a Ph.D. in political philosophy, Dave taught at North Carolina State, Harvard, Wheaton, and for 34 years at Boston College. He’s authored books on the First Amendment, Lincoln’s speeches and Shakespeare’s plays. A five-time winner of the Adult Poetry prize at the Hardwick Fair, he’s also had many of his poems published in the Landmark. Dave will be reading from his current manuscript, From Frogs to Stars: Wonders of Nature, Myths of Science. Light refreshments will be served. Free. All are welcome.
